Abaout Lee-Jean
Lee-Jean is the founder of Art Experience, a children art enrichment program in Torrance that she has established since 2002. She uses art to guide children through the creative process so that they always have tools to express and empower themselves. She also offers “Art Night” to adults looking for a “safe” environment for creativity and to reduce daily stress.
She has been a presenting artist for many in-class art programs sponsored by PTA, e.g. PV Art At Your Fingertip, Torrance Adventure in Art, Southbay Handson Art, Young at Art and Art to Grow on. Over the past 10 years, many of her projects cover 40,000+ kids in South Bay schools.
Lee-Jean is the recent recipient of Certificate of Congressional Recognition from Congressman Ted Lieu and an award from South Bay Chinese Woman Association, respectively, for her involvement in Art Education and Community Service.
