(Marilyn Lin is in charge; Gentlemen are welcome as guests. Ladies need to

be SBCWA members.)

2. Upcoming Events:

* Saturday 01/26/08 4:30pm, SBCWA Grant Team 1^st Meeting @ Café TLJ, Torrance

* Saturday 02/02/08 Evergreen Chinese School 12^th Anniversary celebration at The First

Lutheran Church Faith Hall 5:30 – 9:00pm (Present: Performance Club)

* Saturday 02/03/08 Travel Club/Walk a City has 1-days bus trip in California, $65 per

person (Dee is in charge, non-member can join if we have seats available)

* Sunday 02/09/08 Performance Club will start SBCWA 2008 dance

(Wing & Wenny is in charge, welcome to join)

- Hawaiian dance instructor: Alice (1^st Sat, 1 – 3pm @2225 Dominguez Way, Torrance)

- Belly dance instructor: Shihmei (2^nd, 4^th Sun 9 – 10am, $30 annual fee – renting

* Saturday 02/16/08, SBCW Chinese New Year Festival @ Bamboo Garden in Torrance

(Susan A is in charge, Members: $5; Non-members: full price of dinner)

* Saturday 04/26/08 Seminar- “Hey, are you listening to what I say?” at Evergreen

Chinese School in Lomita, will distribute flyer (Christina is in charge)

* May 2008 Travel Club will trip in Rocky Mountain-Canada (Dee is in charge)

* Sept 2008 SBCWA Annual Event 2008, detail will follow

* Nov 2008 Travel Club will trip in Arizona, San Diego, Texas (Dee is in charge)

* Dec 2008 SBCWA Christmas/Holiday open house @ Mary Keyes’ church, will update
